This position requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as a compassionate and professional demeanor, to uphold the dignity of the funeral home environment.

In addition to maintaining physical spaces, the Reception Attendant supports funeral directors during on-site events like services and arrangement conferences, helping to ensure that events proceed smoothly and respectfully. Responsibilities also include delivering event-related supplies, assisting servers with clearing and replenishing guest amenities, and responding to guest or team requests promptly and courteously. This integral role involves performing side duties such as cleaning restrooms, polishing glassware, folding napkins, and transporting linens and banquet ware, all contributing to the overall positive experience of families and guests.

The position offers a wage of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour and embodies NorthStar Memorial Group's commitment to equal employment opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. While experience in the funeral profession is preferred, candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and compassionate interpersonal skills will find the role rewarding.
