Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred
  • flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
  • frequent use of computers and handheld equipment necessary for job functions
  • good communication skills

  • Fulfilling customer orders and merchandising products
  • supervising the selling floor to deliver exceptional customer service
  • leading colleagues in the execution and completion of assigned tasks
  • providing fast feedback on how to enhance customer experiences
  • ensuring high-level customer service through problem-solving and customer-focused resolutions
  • promoting Macy's mobile app to enhance the in-store customer experience
  • meeting with People Leaders to plan and monitor store activities
  • providing continuous feedback to People Leaders to improve customer experience and store processes
  • performing store opening and closing procedures including alarm system access and register settling
  • leading adherence to merchandise standards
  • educating colleagues on sales technology and equipment
  • fostering an environment of acceptance and respect
