Job Requirements
- Partial high school education
- ability to successfully complete ServSafe certification
- knowledge or ability to learn culinary terms and practices
- physical ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 60 lbs
- ability to work in various temperature environments
- ability to stand for extended periods and climb steps
- communication skills in English
- valid license to operate trucks and golf carts

Job Duties
- Receive documentation and goods from warehouse
- assist with end of month inventories
- date product and rotate according to food handling process
- assist in setting up and maintain storage standards
- ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all refrigerator walk-in areas and notify the unit manager of unusual events
- take temperatures at regular intervals and maintain food quantities while minimizing waste
- assist in maintaining kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule
- deliver product from lower storage to main kitchen
- ensure recycling program is followed in the department
- adhere to food safety guidelines including ServSafe and HACCP
- attend and participate in safety meetings
- perform other related duties as required
