Job Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age
- must have 2 years minimum driving CDL experience
- must possess a commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A or B)
- have a valid DOT physical or pass a company provided physical
- pass a drug screen
- must have a clean, safe driving record
- excellent driving skills
- must understand technical oral and written instructions
- must take pride in truck appearance
- promote positive relations with coworkers, customers, and public
- able to work outside in all weather conditions
- able to tolerate loud noises
- able to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
- able to speak, read, and have working knowledge of English
- able to lift up to 50 pounds
- willing to work overtime and extended hours
- authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screen
Job Qualifications

- must pass background checks and MVR
Job Duties
- Delivery of ready mix concrete products
- work closely with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate information flow
- receive delivery ticket and follow instructions as directed
- position truck under the batch plant to be loaded
- operate truck to receive a load and evaluate slumps
- maneuver truck on job site including attaching chutes to discharge material
- complete all forms, reports, tickets, and required paperwork
- prioritize safety throughout the operation in accordance with DOT and company policies
- operate ready-mix trucks in accordance with all federal, state, city, and company regulations
- may be required to operate front-end loader
- assist in maintenance and upkeep of yard, plant, and office
- other duties as assigned by supervisor
- perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document vehicle condition
- check vehicle fluid levels daily and add fluids as necessary
- clean the outside of the vehicle and chutes to ensure absence of concrete build-up
- may assist mechanics in vehicle repair and change tires as necessary
