The role of Ready-Mix Truck Driver at Amrize ACM PNW, Inc. is an essential position within the operational framework of the company. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean FMCSA Clearinghouse record
  • Drivers abstract required
  • Previous experience as a ready-mix truck driver preferred
  • Ability to safely operate a concrete mixer truck
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws and vehicle regulations
  • Ability to maintain accurate delivery records
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Commitment to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment including respirators
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and Saturdays
  • Ability to navigate Bellingham and surrounding areas
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Report incidents and vehicle malfunctions promptly
  • Perform basic truck maintenance tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant industry training or certification in commercial driving preferred
  • Previous experience as a ready-mix truck driver is a plus
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean FMCSA Clearinghouse record
  • Drivers abstract required
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws, vehicle regulations, and safe driving practices
  • Ability to operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a mixer truck to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites
  • Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers, ensuring consistent and reliable service
  • Provide a positive and hassle-free delivery experience for customers
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including time logs, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other personnel to optimize delivery schedules
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts and Saturdays as needed
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas
