The role of a Concrete Delivery Professional (CDP) at Manatt's is pivotal in maintaining the company’s high standards and delivering exceptional service to customers. They are accountable not only for the timely and safe delivery of concrete but also for the condition and maintenance of the ready-mix truck. This includes conducting thorough pre and post-trip inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the truck complies with all regulatory standards. CDPs also manage the entire discharge process, from positioning chutes to controlling concrete placement, ensuring the product quality remains during transit and upon delivery.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three years of customer service-related experience or training
- mechanical aptitude to learn truck functions
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to perform basic mathematics
- valid Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement or class A permit
- current physical examination
- acceptable driving record
- capacity to work seasonally typically from April to November, with possible winter work as weather allows
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and customer service-related experience
- mechanical aptitude with understanding of ready-mix truck components
- ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondences
- effective verbal communication skills
- basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and percentages
- problem-solving skills with ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
- valid Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement or class A permit with ability to obtain CDL within 45 days
- current IDOT physical examination
- acceptable driving record
- excellent work ethic
- ability to work seasonally
Job Duties

- position truck for material receipt and discharge

- visually inspect concrete loads for quality
- assemble, disassemble, and position chutes for discharge
- document delivery details and quality controls accurately
- safely clean mixer drum, hopper, and chutes
- comply with all relevant safety laws and company directives
- operate loader and other equipment as needed
- contribute to continuous personal and team improvement
- provide constructive feedback to improve customer experience
- represent the company positively at all times
