Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
one to three years of customer service-related experience or training
mechanical aptitude to learn truck functions
ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
ability to write routine reports
ability to communicate effectively
ability to perform basic mathematics
valid Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement or class A permit
current physical examination
acceptable driving record
capacity to work seasonally typically from April to November, with possible winter work as weather allows

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and customer service-related experience
mechanical aptitude with understanding of ready-mix truck components
ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondences
effective verbal communication skills
basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and percentages
problem-solving skills with ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
valid Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement or class A permit with ability to obtain CDL within 45 days
current IDOT physical examination
acceptable driving record
excellent work ethic
ability to work seasonally
