Known for their commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer service, Heidelberg Materials North America continually seeks to foster a safe and inclusive work environment that enables employees to thrive and grow.

The role of a Concrete Mixer Truck Operator at Heidelberg Materials is a critical position within the ready-mix concrete business. In this role, you will be operating a concrete mixer truck, ensuring timely deliveries that meet customer specifications while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism. The job requires performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to confirm the operational readiness and safety of the vehicle, as well as maintaining accurate delivery records. Effective communication with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel is essential for smooth delivery operations. Additionally, you will need to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of your assigned vehicle, adhering strictly to all traffic regulations and safety protocols to protect yourself, the public, and the integrity of the product you are delivering.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic with a commitment to safety, customer service, and reliability. This role demands the ability to work independently and effectively manage time, often operating under varying environmental conditions, including adverse weather and challenging site conditions. Heidelberg Materials is committed to equal opportunity employment and values the diversity and professionalism brought by each team member. Candidates must pass a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug and alcohol screening, and background check, with some roles requiring ongoing FMCSA regulated drug and alcohol testing.

Joining Heidelberg Materials means becoming part of a well-established company that values employee development and offers competitive compensation alongside a supportive work culture. This opportunity is perfect for skilled commercial driver’s license holders looking to advance their career by working with a respected leader in the building materials industry.
