The Ready Mix Concrete Driver at Titan Ready Mix plays a crucial role in the company's operations by handling the safe and efficient transport of ready-mix concrete to various construction sites within the service region. This role demands a professional who can operate concrete mixer trucks in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies, ensuring deliveries are timely, accurate, and maintain the quality of the concrete mix throughout transit. The driver will be responsible for pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, basic truck maintenance, and effective communication with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate successful delivery activities. This position involves a hands-on approach including positioning the truck for proper discharge of concrete, adherence to safety protocols including personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and assisting with washout and yard duties when necessary.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher, a clean driving record, experience in operating heavy trucks or construction vehicles, and the physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.   • Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, weekends, and in varying weather conditions
  • Physical ability to climb, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work outdoors

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT and company regulations
  • Transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to designated construction sites on schedule
  • Inspect vehicle before and after trips
  • perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues
  • Accurately position truck and discharge concrete according to job-site requirements
  • Maintain proper mix consistency during transport and delivery
  • Complete delivery tickets, logs, and other required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers
  • Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required PPE
  • Keep truck clean and in good working condition
  • Assist with washout procedures and yard duties as needed
