Job Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma or GED with good grades in science/math classes
intermediate/advanced computer skills (Gmail, Google Drive, Excel, data entry)
education or experience working in related scientific field such as food science, biology, biochemistry, health and wellness, botany, chemistry
US citizenship or legally able to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Minimum of high school diploma or GED with good grades in science/math classes
intermediate/advanced computer skills (Gmail, Google Drive, Excel, data entry)
education or experience working in related scientific field such as food science, biology, biochemistry, health and wellness, botany, chemistry
junior/senior in 4-year degree program preferred
experience writing scientific research papers or essays

Job Duties

Assist the Product Development team in maintaining the laboratory
help to maintain the physical laboratory ingredients as well as the online database
ensure available ingredients are within expiration and restock expiring ingredients
replenish lab supplies as needed
help to maintain a clean lab
assist the Product Development team in creation, taste testing and analyzing materials
prepare lab samples
conduct and document taste testing projects for both new products and for material equivalency projects
record work in a laboratory notebook
assist in the Product Development team in research and information gathering
assist formulators with ingredient research
gather documents for R&D scientists
conduct ingredient literature searches and generate scientific reports together with full scientific articles in electronic form
research market and or ingredient product trends using company resources and keep a full record of them
present research to small groups as assigned
