Job Requirements
- at least 18 years old
- able to stand and walk for eight-hour shifts
- fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
- good physical condition to perform bending, stooping, climbing, working in tight spaces
- pass background check and drug screening
- authorized to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship
- not lived outside the U.S. for more than six months in past three years except military or government exceptions
- able to work 100% on site
- willing to work mandatory overtime when needed
- meet uniform and appearance standards
- able to work outdoors in all weather
- exposure to high noise levels
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- able to communicate effectively in English
- comfortable using computers and mobile devices
- valid state-issued driver’s license with good driving record
- ability to obtain and maintain necessary operational clearances
- capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
- reliable and punctual attendance
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- successful completion of interview and assessment
Job Duties
- process baggage between airport and aircraft
- handle boxes and cargo safely and efficiently
- receive and dispatch aircraft timely
- operate loading and unloading equipment
- perform safety checks on equipment and cargo
- communicate with flight crews and other departments
- interpret load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels
