Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years old
  • able to stand and walk for eight-hour shifts
  • fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • good physical condition to perform bending, stooping, climbing, working in tight spaces
  • pass background check and drug screening
  • authorized to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • not lived outside the U.S. for more than six months in past three years except military or government exceptions
  • able to work 100% on site
  • willing to work mandatory overtime when needed
  • meet uniform and appearance standards
  • able to work outdoors in all weather
  • exposure to high noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • able to communicate effectively in English
  • comfortable using computers and mobile devices
  • valid state-issued driver’s license with good driving record
  • ability to obtain and maintain necessary operational clearances
  • capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
  • reliable and punctual attendance
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • successful completion of interview and assessment

Job Duties

  • process baggage between airport and aircraft
  • handle boxes and cargo safely and efficiently
  • receive and dispatch aircraft timely
  • operate loading and unloading equipment
  • perform safety checks on equipment and cargo
  • communicate with flight crews and other departments
  • interpret load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels
