The Virtual Ramp Control Room (VRCR) Manager position is a key leadership role within airport operations, specifically focused on managing and supervising ramp control activities utilizing advanced Searidge technologies. The VRCR Manager oversees the seamless integration and operation of critical systems such as panoramic video feeds for complete ramp coverage, ADS-B data for real-time tracking of aircraft and vehicles, and human-machine interfaces (HMI) that include video presentations, flight information displays, and pan-tilt-zoom camera capabilities. Job Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Proven air traffic control and ramp operations experience
- Ability to respond to staff issues and serve as subject matter expert
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of conduct and appearance
- Valid airport-issued security badge or ability to obtain one
- Ability to recruit, hire, and train staff
- Willingness to provide continuous staffing coverage
- Experience with FCC licensing process
- Capability to manage documentation and reporting
- Availability to work 17-hour shifts over seven days

Job Duties
- Manage staff and supervise ramp control operations
- Coordinate and distribute standard operating procedures and contingency plans
- Develop seasonal and daily gate assignments for airlines
- Ensure adequate staffing and supervision during operational hours
- Serve as project lead for licensing ramp control frequencies
- Draft and implement memorandums of understanding and letters of agreement
- Monitor and report equipment outages and coordinate maintenance
- Attend airline management meetings to discuss scheduling updates
