Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Authorization to work legally in the United States or Canada
- Completion of ramp and SIDA security training
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items up to 70 pounds repetitively
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and basic computer skills
- Commitment to safety protocols and teamwork
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States or Canada as applicable
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport security identification
- Ability to secure Customs Seal if required
- Preferred one or more years of relevant experience
Job Duties
- Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate
- Transport, lift, load/unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loader, or baggage carts in a safe manner
- Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage and/or destruction
- Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies
- Operate heavy equipment such as pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure the equipment is free of any danger
- Operate and/or drive motorized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag cart, lavatory cart, and deicers
- Receive and record customer baggage, air freight, mail, and company materials as required
- Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft
- Complete paperwork and forms connected with work assignments and enter data into company information system as required
- Follow company procedures and protocols to ensure safe and responsible operations
- Complete all required training provided by company, airport authorities or customers
- Be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
