Job Description
Delaware North Sportservice is a renowned hospitality and food service company that operates within some of the most iconic venues and national parks around the world. One of its flagship locations is at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, a historic and highly frequented sports and entertainment arena. TD Garden serves as the home to the NHL's Boston Bruins and NBA's Boston Celtics and hosts over 200 events annually, welcoming more than 3.5 million visitors. Delaware North purchased the original Boston Garden in 1975 and developed the current TD Garden and the adjacent Hub on Causeway, maintaining their ownership and operational control. The company prides itself on a strong legacy as a family-owned business with over 100 years of history, committed to providing exceptional service while fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace for their employees. Their extensive operations span a wide variety of sectors including sports, gaming, restaurants, and hotels, offering unique career development paths and opportunities for growth to their team members. Whether employees seek part-time or full-time roles, Delaware North is invested in helping them achieve their professional goals while delivering memorable experiences to guests across their venues.
The available position for a part-time Cook at TD Garden presents a compelling opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary artistry and thriving in fast-paced kitchen environments. Working as a Cook within Delaware North Sportservice means not just preparing food but being an integral part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences in one of New England's premier arenas. The role involves preparing food and beverage products by following precise recipe guidelines and sanitation practices, ensuring that every dish served meets high standards of quality and safety. Cooks will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining kitchen equipment, keeping workstations organized, clean, and well-stocked, and collaborating effectively with team members and management. This job offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same and where employees are encouraged to develop their culinary skills further through training and development opportunities. With a competitive hourly rate of $20.00, flexible scheduling including evening shifts, weekends, and event coverage, and access to a comprehensive benefits package, this position is ideal for those seeking a rewarding culinary career or supplemental income in a vibrant setting.
