Job Requirements

  • rn license
  • minimum of 3-5 years nursing experience in clinical quality or performance improvement roles
  • leadership experience managing clinical teams
  • strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • ability to develop and implement clinical protocols
  • excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards and accreditation processes
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Job Qualifications

  • registered nurse (rn) license
  • experience in clinical quality improvement or performance improvement
  • proven leadership skills in a healthcare setting
  • knowledge of evidence-based clinical protocols and quality metrics
  • proficiency with data analysis and quality measurement tools
  • strong communication and collaboration skills
  • experience working with multidisciplinary teams
  • familiarity with joint commission accreditation requirements
  • ability to manage budgets and resources

Job Duties

  • oversee daily department operations
  • set performance improvement priorities
  • lead mortality review processes
  • direct service-based initiatives for high volume, high risk, problem prone, and high complications areas
  • develop and standardize clinical care protocols and order sets
  • mentor team members on clinical competencies and quality improvement methods
  • partner with physicians to promote adherence to evidence-based care
  • collaborate with Clinical Quality Analytics for CMS and Joint Commission Core Measures reporting
  • manage budgets, resources, and timelines
  • craft policies and procedures
  • build relationships to sustain hospital-wide improvements
