Job Requirements
- rn license
- minimum of 3-5 years nursing experience in clinical quality or performance improvement roles
- leadership experience managing clinical teams
- strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- ability to develop and implement clinical protocols
- excellent organizational and project management abilities
- effective interpersonal and communication skills
- knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards and accreditation processes
- willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Job Qualifications
- registered nurse (rn) license
- experience in clinical quality improvement or performance improvement
- proven leadership skills in a healthcare setting
- knowledge of evidence-based clinical protocols and quality metrics
- proficiency with data analysis and quality measurement tools
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- familiarity with joint commission accreditation requirements
- ability to manage budgets and resources
Job Duties
- oversee daily department operations
- set performance improvement priorities
- lead mortality review processes
- direct service-based initiatives for high volume, high risk, problem prone, and high complications areas
- develop and standardize clinical care protocols and order sets
- mentor team members on clinical competencies and quality improvement methods
- partner with physicians to promote adherence to evidence-based care
- collaborate with Clinical Quality Analytics for CMS and Joint Commission Core Measures reporting
- manage budgets, resources, and timelines
- craft policies and procedures
- build relationships to sustain hospital-wide improvements
