With a strong mission-driven environment, the hospital prioritizes health equity, education, and clinical excellence. It features robust clinical programs and interprofessional training initiatives that foster ongoing quality advancements. Located in a vibrant metropolitan area of Georgia, this hospital not only offers cutting-edge medical services but also a collaborative and dynamic work environment where innovation and patient-centered care flourish.
The role of Quality Improvement RN Manager is a critical leadership position within the Quality Division, reporting directly to the Chief Quality Officer. This role is ideal for an experienced registered nurse leader who thrives on using data-driven strategies to coach teams and achieve measurable improvements in patient care outcomes. The Quality Improvement RN Manager leads a diverse team consisting of clinical performance improvement nurses, quality analysts, specialists, and project managers, all dedicated to enhancing clinical performance across every service line of the hospital. This cross-functional leadership role involves setting department priorities, overseeing daily operations of the Clinical Performance Improvement Department, guiding mortality review processes, and spearheading initiatives targeting high-volume, high-risk, problem-prone, and high-complication clinical areas.
In this fast-paced and highly collaborative position, the Quality Improvement RN Manager plays a vital role in standardizing clinical care through the development and implementation of protocols and order sets. The manager mentors team members on clinical competencies and quality improvement methodologies, partners with physicians to ensure adherence to evidence-based practice, and serves as a key liaison with the Clinical Quality Analytics team to support CMS and Joint Commission Core Measures reporting. Administrative responsibilities include managing budgets, resources, timelines, and policy and procedure development to sustain continuous quality improvements hospital-wide. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence patient outcomes positively and contribute to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional quality care while promoting health equity and professional growth.
Based in an energetic Georgia metro area, the Quality Improvement RN Manager benefits from living in a region with a thriving cultural and recreational scene including popular food and music events, professional sports, arts festivals, parks, and trails suitable for year-round outdoor activities. The area also features an affordable cost of living compared to many coastal cities, strong job growth in healthcare and technology sectors, diverse neighborhoods, and easy access to one of the world's busiest airports with nonstop flights to major destinations. Competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and ongoing professional development resources complement this exciting leadership role. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to connect with a CMC recruiter to embark on a career path where they can drive transformational results and lead meaningful change impacting patients, healthcare teams, and the broader community.
