The role of a Concrete Quality Control Technician at NESL’s Buffalo Ready-Mixed Concrete operations is critical to sustaining this commitment to quality. This full-time position involves monitoring the quality and consistency of concrete products by performing thorough testing and sampling of raw materials such as aggregates and concrete mixtures. The technician will be responsible for conducting essential tests including slump, air content, temperature, and unit weight, ensuring all materials comply with specifications from reputable entities like the American Concrete Institute (ACI), NYSDOT, and other municipal standards.

Starting at an hourly rate over $24.00, this role offers competitive compensation with the potential for a higher entry-level rate based on experience and certifications. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in concrete or aggregate testing preferred but not required
  • basic computer literacy
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to follow safety protocols

  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to obtain certifications as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
