Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years relevant hands-on work experience
  • strong knowledge of quality control testing procedures
  • ability to accurately document and evaluate quality data
  • excellent computer literacy including Excel and Word
  • strong communication skills
  • must be 18 years or older
  • pass background and drug examination
  • ability to work flexible full-time schedule including weekends and holidays
  • must have reliable transportation
  • willingness to comply with PPE requirements
  • must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • adhere to safety and regulatory standards

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2-3 years hands-on experience in carbonated soft drink industry preferred
  • experience in quality control testing and sanitation of beverage equipment
  • strong computer skills including Microsoft business applications and reporting software
  • exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • knowledge of OSHA required training
  • ability to troubleshoot quality issues and recommend improvements
  • familiarity with HACCP principles and quality assurance practices

Job Duties

  • Maintain all HACCP and food safety records
  • conduct plant audits and mock recall programs
  • train plant staff on quality procedures
  • perform microbiological testing of ingredients, suppliers, and packaging
  • test concentrate ingredients and finished beverage products
  • collaborate with R&D on new product launches
  • document and follow cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • fill out batch reports accurately and calculate batch size variations
  • troubleshoot batch issues and implement corrections
  • perform internal pest control and maintain related documentation
  • assist supervisors with quality issues and trend analysis
  • ensure compliance with Federal and State legislation
  • collect and analyze process quality data
  • use Microsoft Office software proficiently
  • present quality information effectively to management
