SEACORP is a prominent organization dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services, particularly supporting large prime contractors in the Department of Defense (DOD) sector. Known for its commitment to excellence and rigorous standards, SEACORP plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all deliverables meet stringent quality benchmarks required in defense-related production. As a trusted partner in this critical industry, SEACORP is continuously expanding its quality assurance capabilities to maintain its reputation as a leading provider of precision-fabricated metal products and associated services. The company’s focus on quality underscores every aspect of its operations, from initial receipt of materials to final inspections before product dispatch.
The Quality Control Specialist role at SEACORP is an essential position within the organization’s quality assurance team. This specialist is tasked with overseeing the entire product lifecycle, which encompasses receipt inspections, in-process checks, and outgoing inspections. The goal of the position is to ensure compliance with both internal standards and customer-specific requirements, which are paramount in the defense industry due to the critical nature of the supplied components. Engaging closely with project leads, engineers, and technicians, the Quality Control Specialist contributes to the development and continual improvement of quality processes and procedures.
This position requires a deep understanding of quality management practices, meticulous attention to documentation, and a proactive mindset toward identifying process improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying that all fabricated metal items strictly adhere to current drawing specifications. This includes rigorous inspection and verification at multiple stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring no deviations compromise the final product’s integrity. Furthermore, the Quality Control Specialist manages vital quality control documents such as Objective Quality Evidence (OQE), Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and Certificates of Conformance (C-of-Cs), which are critical for maintaining traceability and compliance.
SEACORP offers a collaborative work environment where continuous improvement is encouraged, and employees are empowered to refine quality frameworks through hands-on involvement. The specialist will also assist in maintaining calibration of specialized test equipment, a necessity to uphold measurement accuracy across quality inspections. Additionally, this role plays a pivotal part in analyzing quality data to identify trends and process gaps, enabling the company to implement effective corrective actions and optimize production workflows.
Joining SEACORP as a Quality Control Specialist means contributing to the defense industry's safety and efficiency by ensuring that all products leaving the production floor meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role combines technical expertise, analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence, offering an opportunity for career growth within a dynamic and mission-critical environment.
