Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2-3 years hands-on work experience in carbonated soft drink industry preferred
- Experience in quality control testing and sanitation of beverage equipment
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft business applications
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with OSHA required training
- Must be 18 years or older
- Favorable background and drug exam
- Ability to work flexible full-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must have own transportation to various locations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2-3 years experience in the carbonated soft drink industry preferred
- Knowledge of quality control testing procedures
- Experience with beverage equipment sanitation
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of OSHA required training
- Ability to evaluate and document quality data
- Experience troubleshooting production processes
Job Duties
- Maintain HACCP, food safety records, and plant audits
- Conduct mock recall programs and train plant personnel
- Perform microbiological testing of ingredients, suppliers, packaging, and finished products
- Collaborate with R&D on new product launches
- Document batch reports, calculate batch variations, and ensure compliance with formulas
- Evaluate and troubleshoot batch processes and take corrective action
- Implement internal pest control program and maintain documentation
- Assist supervisors in resolving quality control issues and tracking quality trends
- Ensure compliance with federal and state legislation
- Collect, analyze, and summarize process quality information
- Use Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation
