Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • experience using precision measurement tools
  • ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED

  • ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • 2+ years manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
  • knowledge of geometric tolerancing and trigonometry preferred
  • trade school or technical training preferred
  • machine safety or quality systems training preferred

Job Duties

  • perform in-process and final inspections of sheet metal products
  • utilize precision tools including calipers and micrometers
  • interpret blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications
  • verify dimensional accuracy and geometric tolerances
  • document inspection results and maintain quality records
  • identify non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions
  • collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues
  • conduct first article inspections on new or revised parts
  • verify inspection tools are within calibration standards
  • support quality improvement initiatives and reporting
