With a widespread presence, including the Store 2705341Q located at 3603 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30906, Circle K operates numerous locations that cater to the fast-paced needs of busy customers looking for convenience, variety, and friendly service. As part of a reputable brand, Circle K places a strong emphasis on operational excellence, safety, and teamwork to ensure each store not only meets but exceeds expectations. The company is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment where employees are encouraged to grow, develop, and contribute meaningfully to the business objectives. This position is full-time and offers flexible shift availability, enabling candidates to work during all hours of operation with at least one hour pre-opening and post-closing, ensuring smooth daily store functions and upholding the brand’s high standards.
The role of Restaurant Assistant Manager at Circle K is a pivotal management position that supports the Restaurant Manager (RM) in overseeing daily operations and team supervision. As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will lead and coach restaurant team members, ensuring excellent guest service is consistently delivered in a fast and friendly manner. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and a safe restaurant environment, adhering to all company, brand, and health department regulations, and ensuring that food preparation and service meet or exceed quality and safety standards. This role requires managing operational tasks such as cash handling, inventory control, shift administration, and compliance with all financial and safety policies. The assistant manager steps in when the RM is unavailable to manage administrative duties, including completing paperwork, inventory counts, truck orders, and other necessary tasks to keep restaurant operations running efficiently.
Key expectations include conducting secondary interviews for team hires, coaching team members, communicating relevant information, and assisting with new product training. You will foster a positive workplace culture by embodying the company’s core values: One Team, Do the Right Thing, Takes Ownership, and Play to Win. The assistant manager is also responsible for monitoring sales and cash accuracy, handling discrepancies, and partnering with management to meet financial objectives resulting in a profitable store. The position demands excellent leadership, communication skills, and the ability to maintain calm and control during stressful situations. Physical requirements include the ability to perform tasks such as bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting moderate to heavy loads, which is essential to support the dynamic environment of the restaurant.
Circle K provides a competitive benefits package designed to support employee health, financial security, and professional development. Benefits include unlimited tip pooling, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance plans, flexible spending and health savings accounts, short-term disability coverage, paid vacation time off, premium pay for company holidays, matching 401(k) contributions, tuition reimbursement, stock purchase plans, employee discount programs, discount meal benefits, and wellness plans. While wait periods may apply to certain benefits, the company commits to making reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive workplace. Circle K adheres strictly to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related laws to support applicants and employees with disabilities throughout the employment process.
