Circle K store located at 5642 Bragg Blvd, Fayetteville, North Carolina is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Restaurant Shift Lead to join their team. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting and enjoy working closely with a diverse team. The shift lead will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational standards of the store while delivering excellent guest experiences.

The Restaurant Shift Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of team members during their shift, ensuring all tasks are executed according to company and brand guidelines. This role involves a combination of leadership, customer service, and operational duties that ensure the smooth running of the restaurant during the shift. The ideal candidate will be someone who can lead by example, manage the team effectively, and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and service.

Key responsibilities include providing excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner, coaching team members to do the same, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. The shift lead will ensure all food items are prepared and served in compliance with health department regulations and company policies. They are also tasked with monitoring inventory control records, cash handling accuracy, and completing necessary paperwork at the end of shifts. Safety and compliance are paramount, with the shift lead guaranteeing a safe environment for both employees and guests by adhering to all government laws and safety codes.

Job Requirements

  • previous experience in restaurant or food service preferred

Job Duties

  • provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner and coaches team members to do the same
  • maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties and assigns shift duties to team members and follows up to ensure completion
  • directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with all brand company and health department regulations and coaches team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management
  • ensures product quality food safety and operational standards are met
  • monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash sales and inventory control records for the duration of the shift and completes end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required
  • communicates any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
  • guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes
  • completes reports on all incidents following company policy
  • lives company values including one team do the right thing takes ownership play to win
