The Line Cook position at Tulalip Tribes entails preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals crafted to order, serving a casual dining and fast food crowd. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of various cooking techniques including saute, broiler, pan and deep fry cooking, poaching, steaming, braising, roasting, and baking. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a Food Handler's permit within 60 days of hire
- Minimum two years experience in full service casual dining as a line cook
- Minimum one year experience cooking seafood, breakfast, and fry cook menu items
- Minimum one year experience grilling, broiling, sauteing, and steaming
- Flexible to work all venues and shifts including days, swing, grave, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain excellent grooming and hygiene standards
- Must pass background investigation for Tribal Gaming License or Permit
- Successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes or other employers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of two years experience as a line cook in full service casual dining
- At least one year experience cooking seafood, breakfast, and fry cook items
- One year experience in grilling, broiling, sauteing, and steaming
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Ability to pass background check for Tribal Gaming License
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
