Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- employment is subject to E-Verify verification
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- ability to stand walk bend kneel climb stairs and crouch for extended periods during a shift
- ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- ability to use hands and arms for repetitive tasks such as sweeping vacuuming wiping mopping lifting and pushing
- ability to detect odors such as smoke gas or strong cleaning chemicals
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous custodial maintenance or housekeeping experience a plus but not required
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- employment is subject to E-Verify verification
- must be at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize all public areas including lobbies restrooms hallways stairwells and other shared spaces
- wash dry and fold laundry as needed to support housekeeping operations
- assist with preparing guest rooms for check-in by supporting the housekeeping team
- maintain cleanliness and orderliness of exterior grounds such as picking up trash emptying trash cans clearing walkways cleaning dumpster area and sweeping entryways
- monitor common areas for safety hazards and report issues to the General Manager
- respond promptly to emergencies including fire alarms water leaks electrical outages or other urgent facility needs
- use cleaning products and tools safely and in accordance with training and safety guidelines
- perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs unclogging drains or resetting breakers as trained
- perform other job duties as assigned
