Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state
- flexible and long hours sometimes required
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
- ability to stand during entire shift
- must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with Expotel Hospitality Service standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper uniform and nametag
- comply with Expotel Hospitality Service standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations
- maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and employees
- use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees
- practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, employees, and self
- handle items for lost and found according to hotel standards
- turn in all keys and assignment sheets to Housekeeping Office at the end of the shift
- report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- be familiar with correct guestroom cleaning procedures to assist if needed
- deliver clean linen to assigned sections if necessary
- pick up room attendant’s dirty linen or trash as needed
- collect and dispose of trash from service landings according to hotel procedures before leaving
- vacuum guest corridors
- keep hallways, public areas, and closets neat and organized
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms
- adhere to schedule for project cleaning of public areas
- maintain stairwells to hotel standards
- keep ash urn clean and filled with sand
- attend meetings or training as required by management
- perform other duties as requested by management
