The Public Relations Manager, Global Regions, will play a critical role in supporting Virtuoso’s brand and public relations efforts across seven key global regions: Australia/New Zealand, Continental Europe, Greater China, Latin America & the Caribbean, Middle East & Africa, North & South East Asia, and United Kingdom/Ireland. This position requires an individual experienced in managing multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, PR agencies, Virtuoso travel advisors, and consumer and trade media outlets to effectively tell the Virtuoso story worldwide. As a vital member of the Global Public Relations team, the manager will coordinate closely with Regional Marketing Directors and Managers to achieve region-specific PR goals aimed at boosting Virtuoso’s brand recognition and generating impactful press coverage at both regional and global levels.
The role emphasizes executing targeted press strategies specific to each market, securing media exposure for Virtuoso's global and regional events such as Virtuoso Travel Week and Virtuoso Symposium, and managing media relations proactively with both consumer and trade outlets. Key responsibilities include drafting press releases, announcements, and pitches; facilitating interview requests and media arrangements; maintaining comprehensive media lists and tailored press materials; and providing alignment and support between PR teams and marketing leadership within each region.
Additional duties involve contributing to cross-functional marketing communications, creating compelling copy for press and marketing collateral, behind-the-scenes organization of global media attendance at company events, monitoring competitive media coverage, and supporting the company’s overall marketing projects. The Public Relations Manager will also oversee translations of press materials to accommodate Virtuoso’s diverse market regions, enhancing communication and engagement across multiple languages. This role demands excellent multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Virtuoso offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) savings plan. The company values diversity and equal opportunity employment, fostering a dynamic and inclusive workplace where talented professionals can thrive. The salary range for this role depends on factors such as geographical location, experience, and skills, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair and competitive compensation. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven PR professional looking to advance their career with a prestigious leader in the luxury travel industry and to help shape the global perception of a brand renowned for excellence and unparalleled travel experiences.
