The role of Public Area Attendant is pivotal in maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and ensuring that all public spaces are pristine and welcoming. The Public Area Attendant will be responsible for regular cleaning and upkeep of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other public areas to uphold the hotel's high standards. The job is physically active, involving pushing and pulling moderate weights, and requires efficiency and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
ability to communicate effectively
physical ability to push and pull moderate weight
willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
commitment to providing excellent guest service

Job Qualifications

prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred

Job Duties

maintain cleanliness of all public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
push and pull equipment and supplies required for cleaning
report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management
collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service quality
uphold hotel standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
