Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand and walk for 8+ hours at a time
  • Frequently lift, carry, and dispose of trash bags, buckets, and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance
  • Regularly push supply carts or trash bins weighing up to 100 lbs
  • Frequently bend, kneel, or crouch to clean baseboards, under furniture, and behind fixtures
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing
  • Comfortable working indoors and in semi-outdoor environments
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and waste
  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or public area cleaning preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and time management in high-traffic environments
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to take initiative without constant supervision
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English

Job Duties

  • Maintain the cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, pre-function spaces, and back-of-house areas
  • Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins regularly and safely transport waste to designated disposal areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean carpets, tile, and other floor surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms including sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors, and fixtures
  • Dust and polish fixtures, railings, vents, signage, and furniture
  • Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or unusual conditions to the supervisor immediately
  • Set up or reposition public area furniture as needed (e.g., during event turnover)
  • Respond quickly to spills or other urgent clean-up requests
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and cleanliness protocols according to resort standards
  • Use appropriate cleaning products, tools, and PPE when handling chemicals and equipment
