Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • flexible to work long hours
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests and employees
  • use proper two-way radio etiquette
  • practice safe work habits
  • handle lost and found items according to hotel standards
  • turn in keys and assignment sheets at shift end
  • report maintenance issues to supervisor
  • assist with guestroom cleaning procedures if needed
  • deliver clean linen to assigned sections
  • pick up dirty linen or trash for room attendants
  • dispose of trash in outside dumpsters
  • vacuum guest corridors
  • keep hallways and public areas neat and organized
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms
  • adhere to schedule for project cleaning of public areas
  • maintain stairwells to hotel standards
  • keep ash urns clean and filled
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
