This position as a Public Area Attendant is vital within the housekeeping team, directly impacting guests' first impressions and overall satisfaction by maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of all public areas within the hotel. The role involves ensuring that all public spaces meet established guest service standards and environmental sustainability practices, specifically aligned with HHM’s EarthView program. This includes cleaning and organizing hard and textile surfaces, restrooms, elevators, and employee areas. The attendant also handles waste management, utilizes cleaning chemicals safely according to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and adheres to safety protocols including protection against blood borne pathogens and OSHA standards.

The Public Area Attendant position offers a clear growth path within the housekeeping department, progressing from Room Inspector to Housekeeping Supervisor and eventually to Executive Housekeeper.
