This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all public areas within the hotel, ensuring that every guest experiences a welcoming and pristine environment. As a Public Areas Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning all hard and textile surfaces, restrooms within public spaces, and responding to guest room requests promptly and efficiently. Your duties will include meticulous cleaning of internal windows and doorways, furniture, floors, carpets, elevators, and waste receptacles. You will also ensure that employee break rooms and restrooms are maintained to the highest standards. This role is critical in supporting the overall guest service excellence and sustainability standards that the hotel upholds.

Safety and adherence to guidelines are paramount. The position requires you to utilize cleaning chemicals responsibly following Material Safety Data Sheets, practice safe work habits, and comply with protocols related to bloodborne pathogens. Staff in this position are expected to wear protective safety equipment and comply with OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment.

The Public Areas Cleaner position offers a clear growth path starting from Room Inspector progressing to Housekeeping Supervisor, and eventually to Executive Housekeeper roles.
