Job Description

Our establishment is a distinguished hotel known for its commitment to exceptional guest service and sustainability. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness and order are paramount, ensuring every guest experiences comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay. As a part of a globally recognized hospitality brand, we continuously invest in our people and practices, embracing modern standards and sustainability initiatives, such as the EarthView program, which reflects our dedication to environmentally responsible operations.

The role we are offering is for a Public Area Cleaner, a vital position within our housekeeping department. This position focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and overall aesthetic appeal of the hotel's public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about upholding high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols and sustainability guidelines.

As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be responsible not only for routine cleaning tasks but also for assisting with guest room service requests, reflecting our commitment to outstanding customer care. Your duties will involve cleaning hard and textile surfaces, removing fingerprints and smudges, organizing furniture, and maintaining debris-free floors. Furthermore, you will ensure all waste receptacles are emptied regularly and that employee areas including break rooms and restrooms meet our standards.

This role requires the safe use of cleaning chemicals in compliance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and blood-borne pathogen protection procedures. You will also be expected to adopt safe work practices, use protective equipment, and comply with OSHA standards to create a safe working environment. This job offers opportunities for growth within the housekeeping department, with a clear career path from Room Inspector to Housekeeping Supervisor and even Executive Housekeeper, providing ample room to develop your skills and advance your career.

Joining our team means becoming part of an organization that believes deeply in our people and their capabilities. We embrace values such as "People Are Our Capability," "Hearts That Serve," "Only Excellence," "Stay Nimble," and "Own It," which guide everything we do. Our work environment is dynamic; schedules may vary and include holidays and weekends, and the role physically demands standing for long periods, walking, lifting, bending, and other activities. However, it also offers rewarding challenges and the satisfaction of contributing to a premier guest experience.

This position is perfect for those who are detail-oriented, take pride in their work, and are eager to contribute to a sustainable and clean environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and want to embark on a hospitality career with strong growth potential, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated housekeeping team.
