The role we are offering is for a Public Area Cleaner, a vital position within our housekeeping department. This position focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and overall aesthetic appeal of the hotel's public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about upholding high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols and sustainability guidelines.

As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be responsible not only for routine cleaning tasks but also for assisting with guest room service requests, reflecting our commitment to outstanding customer care. Your duties will involve cleaning hard and textile surfaces, removing fingerprints and smudges, organizing furniture, and maintaining debris-free floors. Furthermore, you will ensure all waste receptacles are emptied regularly and that employee areas including break rooms and restrooms meet our standards.

This role requires the safe use of cleaning chemicals in compliance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and blood-borne pathogen protection procedures. You will also be expected to adopt safe work practices, use protective equipment, and comply with OSHA standards to create a safe working environment.
