Job Requirements
- At least sixteen years old
- able to stand for long periods
- able to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- capable of lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves safely
- able to move throughout the store
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- able to comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- able to provide excellent customer service
- able to handle cash transactions accurately
- willing to engage in omni channel retail processes
- able to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- able to maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- able to participate in physical store recovery and stocking tasks
- willing to be cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
Job Qualifications
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
- ability to engage customers and provide excellent service
- strong communication skills
- knowledgeable in cash handling procedures
- capability to encourage customer participation in rewards and credit card programs
- ability to educate customers on surveys and feedback collection
- ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking, unloading, and maintenance
- ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain positive and respectful in challenging situations
- willingness to learn and be cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
Job Duties
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- execute cash handling to standards
- engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- assist with omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
- participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store
- perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
- interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
- remain positive and respectful in difficult situations
- promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values
- project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members
- cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- other duties as assigned
