Job Requirements

At least sixteen years old
able to stand for long periods
able to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
capable of lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves safely
able to move throughout the store
willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
able to comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
able to provide excellent customer service
able to handle cash transactions accurately
willing to engage in omni channel retail processes
able to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
able to maintain a positive and respectful attitude
able to participate in physical store recovery and stocking tasks
willing to be cross-trained in custom framing selling and production

Job Qualifications

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
ability to engage customers and provide excellent service
strong communication skills
knowledgeable in cash handling procedures
capability to encourage customer participation in rewards and credit card programs
ability to educate customers on surveys and feedback collection
ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking, unloading, and maintenance
ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
ability to remain positive and respectful in challenging situations
willingness to learn and be cross-trained in custom framing selling and production

Job Duties

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
execute cash handling to standards
engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
assist with omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store
perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
support shrink and safety programs
adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
remain positive and respectful in difficult situations
promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values
project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members
cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
other duties as assigned
