In this role, you will handle cash and credit transactions according to established procedures, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial dealings. You will be responsible for reporting emergencies, safety hazards, or any deviations from company policies to management immediately to maintain a safe and secure environment. Your knowledge about hotel facilities and services will empower you to assist guests effectively, contributing to enhanced guest satisfaction. The position emphasizes timely and quality service delivery, requiring the prompt preparation and delivery of ordered beverages and food items. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in beverage preparation or related hospitality role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of cash handling and point of sale systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must comply with health and safety regulations
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Duties

  • Process guest checks and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processing and accounting policies and procedures
  • Promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management and report any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations to management
  • Comply with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name tags and proper guest greeting
  • Be knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services to assist guests
  • Impress guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner
  • Take guest orders promptly
  • Prompt preparation of beverages in accordance with prescribed procedures
  • Delivery beverages/food to guests
  • Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations
  • Clean equipment and areas
  • Restock service items
  • Attend department meetings as scheduled
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
