Milestone is known as one of the fastest-growing senior living operators with over 100 years of combined industry and hospitality experience. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture centered around teamwork, creativity, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and staff. As a leader in senior living, Milestone offers a warm and welcoming environment where our culinary staff play a vital role in enhancing the daily experiences of the older adults we serve.

Working at Milestone means becoming part of a caring and dynamic team that prioritizes quality service and resident satisfaction. The role of cook at Lighthouse Memory Care is essential in preparing and serving nutritious meals tailored to meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Under the direction of the Director of Culinary Services, the cook is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen operations, ensuring every meal served promotes health and enjoyment.

Our cooks support the overall culinary operations by following approved menus, managing safe food handling practices, and fostering a positive working environment with other culinary team members. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19 to $21, reflecting the importance of skilled culinary professionals in our community. In addition, full-time employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, generous paid time off, pet insurance, and several voluntary benefit options.

Beyond the tangible benefits, working at Milestone gives you the opportunity to grow your career in the senior living industry, contribute to the well-being of residents, and engage in a supportive workplace culture. The cook plays a critical role in responding to resident feedback, contributing to training and mentoring culinary staff, and upholding all health and safety regulations. Individuals passionate about creating great food and meaningful experiences for older adults will find this role both rewarding and fulfilling.
