Job Requirements
- Completed cashier/service associate training packet
- stand 100% of the time with occasional walking
- use hands frequently/continuously to handle currency and operate equipment
- bend and lift products up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
- push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally
- frequent reaching and grasping at waist level, occasionally above shoulder or below waist level
- meet established volume activity standards
- have sufficient visual acuity to check IDs, checks, invoices, and documents
- greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- provide outstanding, friendly customer service
- record purchases efficiently and accurately
- collect money and tender accurate change
- provide refunds as per standard practice

Job Duties
- Observe and follow all company policies and established procedures
- clean service desk/kiosk
- maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and follow company personal appearance policy
- assist in special projects and perform other functions as assigned by supervision
- work within company management planning (MPP) guidelines to maintain productivity
- support and comply with company safety standards, communicate needed equipment repairs, keep work area free from debris and hazards
- treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect
- perform accurate price check functions
- control excessive use of store supplies such as ribbons, receipt tape, bags, and cleaning materials
- record price discrepancies and request price checks promptly
- verify all customer IDs and observe policies on acceptance of checks and sale of tobacco/alcohol
- adhere to policy on excessive cash in registers and request cash pickups
- observe security standards and report abnormal behavior
- process various transactions including cash, checks, electronic payments, WIC, coupons, refunds, lottery, Western Union according to policies and legal requirements
- secure register at all times
- use and maintain equipment in good working order and report problems
- maintain housekeeping and sanitation compliance
