The organization is proud to be recognized by Newsweek in both 2024 and 2025 as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, reflecting its commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity for all associates.

The Receptionist role at Brookdale is vital to maintaining the welcoming environment that defines the community. This position involves being the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. Receptionists are responsible for greeting visitors, answering questions, managing guest sign-ins, and directing phone calls to the appropriate individuals within the community. Additional responsibilities include handling incoming and outgoing mail for the community and residents, performing basic office clerical duties, maintaining visitor logs, and potentially responding to resident emergencies by contacting internal or external parties as per community protocol.

Brookdale offers a supportive work environment where Receptionists can develop their skills while contributing meaningfully to the well-being and care of the residents. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and various optional voluntary benefits designed to support associates’ overall health and wellness. Both part-time and full-time employees have access to many benefits, while full-time staff receive additional perks such as paid holidays, adoption benefits, and tuition reimbursement. Brookdale values its team members and supports their professional and personal growth with ongoing training opportunities and an inclusive workplace culture. Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are especially encouraged to apply, with additional support programs available for associates seeking U.S. citizenship. This role offers a meaningful career opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of seniors within a respected and growing company.
