We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Room Service Server to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2-3 days a week. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.50 and is ideal for individuals looking to contribute to a dynamic hospitality environment with flexible scheduling options. The Room Service Server will be instrumental in setting up and delivering orders accurately to guest rooms in a timely manner, typically within 20 to 30 minutes. This role requires developing an in-depth understanding of the menu items, dishware, and beverage service protocols to enhance guest interactions and service quality.

As a Room Service Server, you will be responsible for following strict tray setup procedures, ensuring each order includes the correct silverware, napkins, condiments, beverages, and any other guest-specific requests. Familiarity with service standards for alcohol, including beer, liquor, and wine, is essential, along with compliance to alcohol awareness policies and local laws. You will play a key role in maintaining positive guest relations by anticipating guest needs, responding promptly, and verifying satisfaction with meals through timely follow-ups. Your communication skills, work ethic, and ability to build positive relationships with both guests and staff will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience and the smooth operation of our service department.

prior experience in hospitality or room service is preferred but not required

Job Duties

Set up orders and deliver to rooms within approximately 20-30 minutes
develop a complete knowledge of menus, dish and glassware service, and utilize that knowledge in the service of guests as needed
follow proper tray set up for all orders, including silverware, napkins, appropriate condiments, beverages, any special requests, check complete food order to ensure all have been set on tray for delivery
develop a complete knowledge of service standards for beer, liquor and wine, complying with alcohol awareness procedures and complying with all applicable laws
promptly return check and payment to cashier
call back to guest after 5-10 minutes to see if meal is satisfactory
anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times
