Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field
- two years or 4,000 hours of related work experience
- must be currently certified as ServSafe Food Manager with a minimum score of 90 percent
- certified or ability to earn certification within one year as Certified Executive Chef, Certified Culinary Educator, or Certified Sous Chef
- ServSafe Instructor/Proctor certification to teach Principles of Sanitation
- or technical diploma in related field with expectation to obtain Associate's degree within three years
- five years or 10,000 hours of related work experience
- must be currently certified as ServSafe Food Manager with a minimum score of 90 percent
- certified or ability to earn certification within one year as Certified Executive Chef, Certified Culinary Educator, or Certified Sous Chef
- ServSafe Instructor/Proctor certification to teach Principles of Sanitation

Job Duties
- Responsible for instruction in the Artisanal Modern Meat Butchery program
- develop and plan appropriate instructional strategies and alternative delivery strategies including hybrid, face-to-face and online course delivery
- participate in in-service meetings, staff development training or other activities requested by the Department
- assist and advise students with assignments, tests, grades, course content, career concerns and other academic matters
- comply with college policies regarding student testing, record keeping, grading, evaluating student performance and maintaining office hours
- maintain competencies as an instructor aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System
- assist students in developing work experience assignments such as internships, work-study assignments, and team projects
- demonstrate a commitment to the college's mission, vision and values
