Job Requirements
- Ability to use computers, smart devices, and communication systems
- perform repetitive hand and arm motions
- bend and lift products weighing up to 15 lbs continuously, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally
- pull or push up to 75 lbs occasionally
- handle substances associated with cleaning, packaging materials, fresh produce, plants, flowers, and household cleaners
- stand 100% of the time with frequent walking
- frequent reaching and grasping at waist level, occasionally above shoulder or below waist level
- meet established volume activity standards
- tolerate working in extreme hot or cold temperatures up to 20 minutes including inclement weather
- have sufficient visual ability to check ID cards

Job Duties
- Smile and greet each customer using their name whenever possible
- provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service
- exhibit behaviors aligned with Food Lion's guiding principles, core values, vision, and strategy
- shop multiple customer orders using designated tools and equipment
- recognize and differentiate all types of produce including various varieties
- substitute items when requested
- scan, bag, and label purchases efficiently and accurately
- verify all customer IDs and observe store policies related to alcoholic beverage sales
- assist customers in picking up orders
- complete Accountability Form through end to end process
- be courteous and helpful to other associates
- wear uniform including apron and name badge maintaining neat appearance
- control store expenses via proper use of supplies such as receipt tape, bags, and cleaning materials
- adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices
- observe and correct unsafe conditions preventing accidents
- notify QA of cleaning issues or maintenance needs in To-Go area
- successfully complete computer-based training and training aid courses
- perform all other duties as assigned
- meet physical requirements of the position with or without accommodations
