Job Requirements
- Minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Physical ability to stand 55 percent and walk 45 percent of the time
- Must comply with PPE requirements including cut-resistant gloves
- Follow company safety procedures and report accidents promptly
- Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training
- Adherence to food safety and sanitation work habits
Job Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
- Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance
- Must be able to use or learn to use deli equipment and tools
Job Duties
- Review work schedule and check equipment at the start of shifts
- Make sandwiches, subs, roast or fry chicken, heat soup, make pizza, transfer and label deli food
- Wait on customers, slice meat and cheese, weigh and wrap orders
- Work in grab and go lunch meat and cheese section
- Prepare product for sales floor warmers and hot bar as per plan-o-gram and SOP
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters
- Track and record loss using known loss tracking
