Job Description

The hiring organization is a dynamic and professional sports and entertainment company that specializes in hosting a variety of events including home games, ceremonies, draft parties, and other high-profile gatherings. Established with a commitment to delivering engaging and memorable experiences to fans and guests, the company operates in a fast-paced, creative business environment where teamwork, safety, and attention to detail are paramount. The Events & Entertainment Department is essential to the seamless execution of all events, ensuring that every aspect from setup to breakdown meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The Event Operations Crew plays a critical role within this department, responsible for the physical setup, breakdown, and overall execution support for a wide range of events. Reporting directly to the Events & Entertainment Coordinator, this non-exempt position demands a proactive, resourceful, and resilient individual capable of managing diverse responsibilities under tight deadlines. The role requires regular interaction with various stakeholders including cheerleaders, mascots, current and former players, and coaches, particularly during significant events such as the Ring of Honor Ceremony or Draft Party.

Employees in this role must be physically fit, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and comfortable performing extended periods of standing, sitting, and manual labor. Flexibility is crucial since extended evening hours, weekends, and occasional holidays may be required, with availability to work at least 25 events annually including all home games. The work environment is demanding but rewarding, offering opportunities to develop skills in event production, hospitality, and sports entertainment. The position also calls for basic technological proficiency and the ability to effectively communicate and execute detailed logistics such as production outlines and timelines.

Safety and quality are core to this role. Individuals will attend training sessions to maintain these high standards. Additionally, they will be tasked with managing event supplies and equipment, coordinating transportation and escorting duties during special events, and providing excellent guest interactions. The role emphasizes professionalism, accuracy, collaborative work ethic, and the capability to manage responsibilities autonomously while maintaining clear communication with supervisors and team members.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience or interest in hospitality, sports management, event production, or recreation, and those who are mechanically inclined or have operational background. The company values dependability, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset, making this role a vital part of creating spectacular event experiences. The position is at-will and may be subject to revisions as the company evolves its event strategies and operational needs.
