Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in food service sanitation preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates IWCC's core mission, vision and values
  • enforce the guidelines, policies, and procedures set by the Food Service Department
  • responsible for the use of chemicals according to the MSDS and dish machine to ensure that proper procedures are being used and temperatures are being maintained for sanitation measures
  • responsible for putting away of all dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small wares, and utensils in their proper location
  • responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all tables in the cafeteria
  • responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all carts on a daily basis
  • responsible for garbage removal and cleaning of the garbage receptacles
  • responsible for mopping and cleaning of all spills and debris on the floors of the Food Service department
  • responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all mobile carts in the food service department at all times
  • responsible for the proper washing and sanitation of catering items to ensure no damage is occurring with these special items
  • responsible for timely completion of any further cleaning tasks as assigned by FSM or Head Chef
  • maintain a strong professional relationship with the Culinary Arts department
  • attend industry-related conferences, workshops and seminars as appointed by the Food Service Manager
  • immediately report any malfunctioning or broken equipment/small wares to FSM or Head Chef
  • regular, prompt & reliable attendance
  • perform other related duties as assigned
