Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work Wednesday through Saturday, 8am to 4pm
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Positive attitude and reliable attendance

Job Duties

  • Scrape, rinse, and load dishes in the commercial grade dishwasher
  • Manually wash large pots and pans, including scrubbing off stuck on debris
  • Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
  • Sanitize and wipe down dish room and kitchen food prep stations
  • Sweep and mop kitchen area
  • Clean hood vents, speed racks, and dish machine
  • Clean out cres cors, trash cans, and hot bags/hot cubes
  • Empty trash bins, collect and remove waste from the floor and work surfaces, separate recyclables and properly dispose of grease
  • Assist with stocking items in the storage area on delivery days
  • Work as an additional kitchen staff support as needed or when there is down time
