Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- must possess excellent customer service skills
- at least three months experience in quantity food preparation in a health care facility or hospitality industry preferred
- able to handle physical activity including lifting objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
- able to stand, bend and move continuously during working hours
- able to work in an environment with exposures to hazardous chemicals
- able to handle frequent interruptions
- able to interact with residents, family members, and visitors
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent

- excellent customer service skills
- preferred experience of at least three months in quantity food preparation within healthcare or hospitality industry
Job Duties
- assist lead cook in preparing culinary dishes
- support wait staff in dining room operations
- prepare and distribute snacks for residents
- receive and store food deliveries properly
- clean and maintain kitchen hygiene
- manage refrigerator items with proper rotation and organization
- label and date food items accurately
- follow recipes precisely
- perform additional kitchen tasks as assigned
