This job opportunity is for a position within one of Beauport Hospitality Group's full-service, upscale restaurants. The role focuses on providing comprehensive food and beverage service support to ensure total guest satisfaction. The position is ideal for individuals with at least one year of experience in an upscale dining setting who possess a passion for hospitality and a strong work ethic. Employment is offered on an hourly basis with a base wage of $15 per hour plus tips, and total compensation typically ranging between $15 to $18 per hour depending on historical averages and seasonality.
As a member of the service team, the employee will be responsible for setting up and clearing tables, maintaining stock levels of service stations, and assisting servers during dining service. The job requires attention to detail, efficiency in resetting tables, and a continuous commitment to cleanliness and safety within dining areas as well as liquor and wine storage spaces. This role also involves transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area and performing designated side work tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
The work environment is both interior and exterior within the restaurant premises and includes front and back of house areas as well as food and beverage service zones. Candidates must be prepared to stand and walk for extended periods, often up to 90% of their shift, and be capable of lifting items up to 50 pounds regularly. Familiarity with Food & Beverage service protocols and relevant Point of Sales systems is important to succeed in this role.

Job Duties
- Set up and clear tables
- stock all service stations and assist servers with table service
- quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting
- promptly and consistently reset all service-ware per table seating
- maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods including silverware and condiments
- serve guests with water and replenish as necessary
- complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly
- practice cleanliness and safety in all dining, liquor and wine storage areas
- transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- participate in daily staff and department training meetings
- assist team members to promote teamwork environment
