Sheraton San Jose, located in the vibrant city of San Jose, California, is a premier hotel known for its commitment to excellent guest service, distinctive amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. As part of the global Sheraton brand under Marriott International, this hotel blends modern comfort with outstanding hospitality to provide an exceptional experience for business travelers, tourists, and locals alike. Situated in a strategic location, the Sheraton San Jose offers easy access to the city's major attractions, convention centers, and business hubs, making it a popular destination for visitors to the Silicon Valley region. The hotel features well-appointed rooms, multiple dining options, versatile event spaces, and top-notch recreational facilities, all supported by a team dedicated to delivering superior guest satisfaction.

The role of Part-Time Beverage Server at Sheraton San Jose entails serving beverages and food to guests in a manner that is friendly, courteous, and timely to ensure an outstanding guest experience. This position demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, exhibits professionalism, and has excellent interpersonal skills to engage with guests effectively. The Beverage Server will be responsible not only for delivering drinks and food but also preparing beverages for other servers, accurately handling cash transactions, and maintaining bar stock and cleanliness. The role includes greeting guests warmly, accurately mixing and garnishing drinks following standard recipes, and managing the bar setup daily to ensure all supplies and garnishes are fresh and adequately stocked for daily operations.

This position requires attentiveness to guest needs and an ability to multitask efficiently, whether that involves answering phone orders promptly, processing payments with accuracy, or adhering to rigorous health and safety standards, including those related to alcohol service. The Beverage Server also plays a critical role in promoting menu items and ensuring proper inventory management by requisitioning and stocking beverages and supplies in line with daily function projections. Additionally, this part-time opportunity pays $18.45 per hour, offering a flexible work schedule that can complement other commitments for those interested in gaining valuable experience in the hospitality sector.

With safety protocols in place, including fire prevention and emergency procedures, and a strong emphasis on maintaining a tidy and well-presented appearance in accordance with company standards, the Beverage Server is a vital member of the Sheraton San Jose team, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues. This position also requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly, constant standing and walking, and performing various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching. This ensures the role remains active and engaging throughout each shift, providing the opportunity for energetic individuals to excel in a service-oriented career.

Overall, Sheraton San Jose offers a dynamic work environment that values teamwork, attention to detail, and exceptional service delivery, making the Beverage Server position an exciting and rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer satisfaction.
