The Barista role at Graduate by Hilton Eugene, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team driven by inclusivity and employee development. Beyond customer service, the Barista will also handle transactions, serve baked goods and other prepared foods, maintain stock levels, and uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards for all equipment, utensils, and service areas. Temperature checks of storage equipment like freezers and refrigerators are routine responsibilities to ensure food safety and quality. This position supports inventory management by stocking supplies, ordering, and receiving products as necessary. Job Duties

  • Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea to patrons
  • correctly customizes orders as requested
  • describes product details to customers
  • receives and processes customer payments
  • serves prepared foods and baked goods including sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, or bagels
  • ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items
  • cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas
  • cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas
  • ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment
  • stocks supplies or retail products
  • may inventory, order, or receive products as directed
  • perform various other duties as assigned
