Job Requirements

  • No education requirement

  • Must be U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the U.S. with no sponsorship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain Security Identification Display Area badge and meet all airport requirements
  • Must be able to comply with company attendance standards
  • Must be able to work nights weekends holidays and overtime
  • Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds or more and lift 25 to 65 pounds on raised surfaces
  • Must be able to bend stretch and squat
  • Must be able to operate cutting tools to open supply boxes

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to successfully complete provisioning agent training classroom and on-the-job
  • Must maintain satisfactory performance evaluations
  • Must be able to read write and fluently speak and understand English
  • Must be aware of hazardous situations and handle emergencies
  • Must be able to work under tight time constraints and quick aircraft turns
  • Must be able to use radio equipment and communicate verbally or with radio
  • Must be able to type and use computer keyboard to meet job demands
  • Must be able to work at heights of 10 feet or above
  • Must be able to read documents and follow provisioning procedures and regulations
  • Must maintain well-groomed appearance per company standards
  • Must possess valid U.S. driver’s license
  • May be required to obtain Customs Seal and meet international flight working requirements

Job Duties

  • Works in warehouse preparing items for stocking and operates forklift and pallet jacks as necessary
  • packs and repacks liquor beer wine containers and completes inventory with an electronic device
  • loads and stores multiple bags of ice handling 30 or more bags per shift
  • prepares perishable items for stocking on aircraft
  • reviews flight information to plan for snack flights and consolidates snacks for future flights
  • packs and repacks entertainment kits and ensures aircraft is equipped with such kits
  • keeps work area clean by sweeping mopping wiping down countertops and organizing warehouse supplies
  • maintains provisioning truck in a clean orderly manner and stocks provisioning trucks with items from warehouse
  • loads unloads and services company aircraft and transports company material to and from aircraft
  • performs job safely in compliance with company contractual and regulatory requirements
  • drives and operates provisioning truck safely in airport ramp area
  • works near passenger terminals aircraft hangers jetways warehouses and air freight facilities indoors and outdoors
  • operates motorized ground service equipment including bag tugs golf carts forklifts pallet jacks and passenger vehicles
  • stocks aircraft galley with ice beverages soda pre-packed liquor beer wine snacks cups paper products and other provisions
  • equips aircraft cabin interiors with equipment and supplies such as passenger amenities
  • empties trash receptacles mops galley areas mops lavatory floors restocks lavatory compartments and cleans galley and lavatories
  • hand cleans interior of aircraft using specialized cleaning fluids mechanisms
  • transports cabin commissary and cleaning equipment between aircraft and storage areas
  • accomplishes provisioning during prescribed ground time
  • works as member of lean staff operating out of airline served cities
  • wears visual identification required by company for recognition
  • responds to internal customer inquiries
  • attends initial and ongoing training classroom and on-the-job and maintains proficiency
  • provides friendly service to internal and external customers
  • complies with physical ability requirements
  • performs other duties as directed by leaders
