Job Requirements

- Must be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge and meet all local airport requirements
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver license
- May be required to obtain a Customs Seal to work international flights
- Must be physically able to perform job functions within limited space
- Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds or more regularly and repetitively lift weights of 25 to 65 pounds on raised surfaces
- Must be able to observe and communicate safety practices verbally and in writing
- Must be able to bend stretch and squat while working in designated areas including aircraft galleys and warehouse
- Must be able to operate cutting tools to open supply boxes
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have work authorization
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must comply with attendance standards
- Must be able to work various shifts including nights weekends holidays and overtime as per labor agreement
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read write and fluently speak and understand English
- Must successfully complete provisioning agent training including classroom and on-the-job instruction
- Must abide by probationary attendance control policy prior to completion of probation
- Must maintain satisfactory performance evaluations given at 50 day 100 day 150 day and annually
- Must be aware of hazardous situations and handle emergencies
- Must work under tight time constraints for quick aircraft turns
- Must be alert to moving vehicles aircraft or personnel
- Must be able to use radio equipment for communication
- Must be able to communicate verbally and with radio equipment
- Must be able to type and use computer keyboard efficiently
- Must work on provisioning trucks and stands at heights of 10 feet or above
- Must be able to read documents follow instructions and understand procedures rules and regulations including federal and local security
- Must maintain well-groomed appearance per company standards
- Must be U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the U.S. as per Immigration Reform Act 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must comply with company attendance standards as described in guidelines
- Must be able to work various shifts including nights weekends holidays and overtime as outlined in labor agreement
Job Duties
- Works in warehouse preparing items for stocking and operating forklift and pallet jacks as necessary
- Packs and repacks liquor beer wine containers and completes inventory with an electronic device
- Loads and stores multiple bags of ice for loading onto provisioning trucks handling 30 or more bags per shift
- Prepares perishable items for stocking on aircraft
- Reviews flight information to plan for snack flights and consolidates snacks consumed for future flights
- Packs and repacks entertainment kits and assures aircraft is equipped with such kits
- Keeps work area clean by sweeping mopping wiping down counter tops and organizing warehouse supplies
- Maintains provisioning truck in a clean orderly manner
- Prepares provisioning trucks with items from warehouse frequently
- Loads unloads and services company aircraft and transports company material to and from aircraft
- Performs job safely in compliance with company contractual and regulatory requirements
- Safely drives and operates provisioning truck in airport ramp area
- Works in vicinity of terminals aircraft hangers jetways warehouses and air freight facilities both indoors and outdoors
- Operates motorized ground service equipment including bag tugs golf carts forklifts pallet jacks and passenger vehicles as qualified
- Stocks aircraft galley with ice beverages soda pre-packed liquor beer wine snacks cups paper products and other provisions
- Equips aircraft cabin interiors for flights with equipment and supplies such as passenger amenities
- Empties trash receptacles mops galley areas mops lavatory floor restocks lavatory compartments and cleans galley and lavatories
- Hand cleans interior of aircraft using specialized cleaning fluids materials and mechanized cleaning aids as required
- Transports cabin commissary and cleaning equipment between aircraft and storage areas
- Accomplishes provisioning during prescribed ground time
- Wears visual identification prominently for ready recognition
- Responds to internal customer inquiries
- Attends initial and ongoing training and keeps current on knowledge equipment proficiency
- Provides friendly service and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers
- Works cooperatively to ensure company success
- Meets physical ability requirements
- May perform other duties as directed by leaders
