Currently, Sentry Management is seeking a part-time Property Attendant to join their team at a beautiful property in Orlando, Florida. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about fitness and customer service, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming fitness environment for residents. The Property Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring that the fitness center operates smoothly by performing cleaning duties, assisting guests with equipment use, and upholding facility standards. This position requires flexibility, as shifts may include evenings and weekends, and a proactive, friendly attitude to deliver superior customer service.
The Property Attendant will be responsible for maintaining fitness equipment including strength and cardio machines, free weights, fitness flooring, and mats to ensure cleanliness and safety for all users. Additionally, this role involves greeting and registering guests for special camps and events, answering phone inquiries, and assisting residents with the proper use of fitness equipment. The ability to enforce facility policies thoughtfully and communicate effectively with guests and team members is essential. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of fitness experience preferred
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and a general understanding of fitness and exercise principles
- Knowledge of basic principles and practices of office etiquette and understanding of clerical and administrative procedures as they pertain to basic office operation
- Proficiency in the English language in both written and oral capacities, with strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Able to operate/drive a golf cart
- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Work a minimum of 4-5 shifts per week, which may include evenings and weekends throughout the year
- Clean fitness center equipment, including but not limited to, strength equipment, cardio equipment, free weights, fitness flooring, and equipment mats
- Provide a superior level of customer service for members and guests
- Instruct guests on how to use both cardio and strength equipment
- Ensure all disinfection spray cleaners and wipes are stocked in the stations
- Keep a neat and clean appearance and wear appropriate clothing
- Be positive, approachable, friendly, and always willing to assist others
- Enforcement of facility policies and regulations
- Report problems, suggestions, or equipment issues immediately to the direct supervisor
